By engaging Marshall Logistics for any service to the following terms and conditions:
Damage & Loss Liability:
Marshall Logistics is not responsible for any damages incurred during customs inspection, as these processes are beyond our direct control.
Claims for missing items or damages will be accepted if they have the insurance certificate.
No claims for damages or refunds will not be accepted after 7 calendar days post-delivery or once goods/shipments have been received
Recommendation: Clients are strongly advised to secure comprehensive cargo insurance for their shipments to protect against unforeseen damages or loss during transit, handling, or inspection processes. Marshall Logistics can assist in arranging suitable insurance upon request.
Service Scope (Door-to-Door Services):
The exact scope of “Door-to-Door” services will be defined and agreed upon in the individual service agreement or quotation provided to the customer. This may vary based on specific destination requirements, customs regulations
Storage Charges:
Shipments or cargo stored in Marshall Logistics’ facilities are granted a grace period of 15 calendar days of free storage from the date of arrival or agreed storage commencement.
Storage charges will automatically commence on the 16th day following the free storage period, calculated daily at the prevailing rates.
Client Responsibility & Acknowledgment:
Given that a significant majority of our clients (99.99%) originate via our online web portal, the importance of reviewing and understanding our complete Terms & Conditions before confirming any order.
Customs/Border Handling: Almost universally, companies disclaim responsibility for damages or delays caused by customs inspections
- Valuation: If insurance is taken, the claim process relies on the declared value of the goods.
Important Notice Regarding Undeclared Items
Any items packed by the property owner without informing the relocation company in advance may be subject to customs inspection. If prohibited, restricted, or undeclared items are found during customs examination, such as flammable materials, liquor/alcohol, laptops, printers, scanners, cameras, or any items considered to be for commercial purposes, the items may be seized by the customs authorities.
The property owner/shipper will be responsible for any fines, penalties, customs charges, seizure, delays, or other consequences resulting from undeclared or prohibited items.
Customers are therefore requested to inform the relocation company about all items before packing and shipment to ensure compliance with applicable customs regulations.
